Watch this classic film of Western settlement, directed by William Wellman, and
hear tales of the Director’s amazing life & career from his son.
The film will be followed by a book-signing, with copies of
“Wild Bill Wellman: Hollywood Rebel” available ($40)
General Admission – $5 Student/Senior (55+) – $3
That’s right, Aileen Quinn (the original Annie) will be in town, and wants to share the movie with us! There will be a Q&A session with Aileen, immediately following the film.
Join us Friday, July 27th, at the Brewery Arts Center Performance Hall. Doors open at 6:00p, film at 6:30, and we will talk with Aileen after the movie. Admission is free – sponsored by the Brewery Arts Center!
We always serve free, fresh popcorn, and have drawings to raise money in support of our mission, to get more arts education to local youth. At this event, there will be memorabilia from the movie, on the raffle table!
And don’t miss Aileen’s band, the Leapin’ Lizards as they play at the Brewery Arts Center, the following night, Saturday, July 28th. Their Rockabilly set list is loads of fun!

The Carson City Classic Cinema Club presents film screenings (pre-1970) every month, as a means to raise funds in support of our mission to help local youth discover the arts. Our screenings are on the first Tuesday of every month in the Performance Hall of the historic Brewery Arts Center. Doors open at 6:00, trivia and discussion starts at 6:30 PM and the film begins at 7:00. Come and kick back, enjoy snacks, drinks, free popcorn and a great movie, in a theater setting. Admission is $3 for students and seniors, $5 general, and free for members. (Unless otherwise noted.)
